Sagittarius is the ninth sign of
the zodiac. Ruled by Jupiter, the planet of luck, Sagittarians
always seem to be in the right place at the right time. Like the
arrow that always finds its target, those born under this sign
always seem to find themselves in the best of fortunes.
|
They are naturally enthusiastic, restless
and too optimistic to let anything or anyone rain on their parade.
Sagittarians have a longing for the new and exciting and have an inner
desire to always roam free and unrestrained. They prize freedom above
anything else. They are often energetic and outgoing. Their inquisitive
nature leads them on never-ending adventures that involve travel and
discovery. This comes at a cost, however, as many Sagittarians drift
towards relationships that are never allowed to develop deep roots. This
is not to say that they cannot be excellent friends, though "no
strings attached" is usually their rule.
Sagittarians are very idealistic and straight-forward. They
will let you know what is on their minds whether you like it or not. They
possess an uncanny sense of intuition though they bore easily once they
have figured something out. They are gifted story tellers and their charms
and sense of humor are amongst the most liked in the Zodiac. Their honesty
and candor are admired traits, but many Sagittarians easily assume that
everyone else shares their integrity.
Though Sagittarians live for tomorrow, they can be the best of companions.
Despite their occasional irresponsibility, it is often hard to resist the
charms of the Sagittarius.
Sagittarians tend to be optimistic, friendly, argumentative and
easy-going.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER
SIGNS FROM THE SAGITTARIUS POINT OF VIEW
Aries - Your unrestrained ways and the Aries pioneering spirit make a very nice match and compliment each other very well as long as the Aries can get you to make a commitment since you tend to bore easily and are hard to keep interested for very long. The Aries should have no problem with this though. With the two of you and your starry-eyed notions, this relationship will be a winner in the romance department not to mention full of passion.
Taurus - The Taurus has an intense need for security and is no match for your "no strings attached" attitude. The Taurus will likely never get you to commit fully to them even though they feel a strong desire to. The Taurus may end up wasting their time attempting to tie you down when the attraction isn't returned by you.
Gemini - You two should be able to maintain a very happy long lasting relationship provided that you can settle down and commit to each other. You both have a tendency to be restless and unrestrained. This should help you to understand each other's need for freedom and keep the relationship open and interesting.
Cancer - The Cancer envies your self-confidence and are drawn to your optimism and care-free attitude. You in return are drawn to the Cancer's caring and protective side. The two of you both share a wonderful sense of humor that keeps this relationship upbeat even through the roughest times. All the Cancer has to do is give you a little room to roam and keep making home the best place for you to return to.
Leo - The Leo will prove to be a constant challenge for you who usually bores quite easily. You will actually probably find it very difficult to stay away from the Leo. Your sense of humor and charming qualities keep the Leo coming back for more as well. This relationship should do quite well!
Virgo - It will be extremely hard for the Virgo to tie you down. The Virgo is not exciting enough for you to settle down with. The Virgo will seem more like an anchor to you holding you back from what you want to do. The only way to make this work is for you to make the commitment. Once you are commitment the Virgo will have your whole heart.
Libra - The Libra will find your sense of humor and charming qualities an instant turn on. You may not return their affections however. You like to be free and unrestrained and the Libra's laid back ways may prove to be a bit too boring for you. The Libra will have to learn to let loose and have a good time if they want to keep your attention and make this one a success.
Scorpio - With your care-free attitude and tendency to long for freedom, this is probably not a match made in heaven. The Scorpio is too intense to put up with the restlessness of you for very long but the intense passion of the Scorpio may be just what it takes to keep you around and tie you down.
Sagittarius - It would be hard to maintain a relationship here since neither of you has the desire to settle down. You would probably make better friends than romantic partners.
Capricorn - The Capricorn's ambitious ways could actually keep you on your toes and make you want to settle down with the Capricorn. Although you may find that the two of you can really get on each other's nerves at times a solid commitment is the key to making this one work out.
Aquarius - Since the two of you tend to be equally independent, this may have the makings of a good relationship. Both of you like your freedom and will probably give each other the space you both need without much fuss. The conversation is always fabulous and most people will envy the exchanges between the two of you. To make this last, the two of you must work on intimacy or else they drift apart.
Pisces - The Pisces mysteriousness is just what you need to keep your interests fresh. Your intense need to roam may be delayed at least for a little while with the charm and passion of the Pisces there to hold your attention. This match can be best described as playful and fun. While the two of you are quite different that is the biggest attraction here. You just both seem to respect each other and your differences.

BIOGRAPHY
Donald Wayne Johnson was born in Flat
Creek, Mo. on Dec. 15, 1949. As a young boy, he lived on his
grandparents' farm, before the family moved to Wichita, Kan. when he was
six. Soon after, his parents divorced.
Back in Missouri with his mother, Johnson began to get in trouble. After
being caught hot-wiring a car at age 12, he served time in a juvenile
detention center. Once Johnson reached his teens, he found he had a way
with the ladies. He moved in with a 25-year-old woman when he was just
16.
After high school, Johnson won a drama scholarship to the University of
Kansas. In 1969 he was hired by the American Conservatory Theater in San
Francisco and was soon starring in productions.
Johnson's stage work won him a contract with MGM and the title role in
1970's The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart, a light-hearted
drama about a young man making his way through the sexual revolution.
Johnson drew on some of his own experience — by the time he was 22, he
had been married and divorced twice. At that point, he moved in with
then 14-year-old actress Melanie Griffith.
More minor film work followed until 1975's A Boy and His Dog, a
strange post-apocalyptic picture that became a cult favorite. He and
Griffith married in 1975 and divorced 6 months later.
From there, Johnson transitioned to television roles, appearing in
soon-forgotten TV movies including 1978's Ski Lift to Death. In
1981, he portrayed Elvis Presley in Elvis and the Beauty Queen .
In 1982, Johnson had a son with actress Patti D'Arbanville.
Miami Vice premiered in the fall of 1984, featuring Johnson as
Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Tubbs. The show's flashy
cinematography and compelling, if farfetched, story lines made it an
immediate hit. Television's hippest show, it became a reason to stay
home on Friday nights. Miami Vice attracted a slew of
high-profile guest stars ranging from Frank Zappa to G. Gordon Liddy and
rising talent including Julia Roberts and Bruce Willis. The show's
influence also spread to the fashion world, as men across the country
let their stubble grow to just the right length and purchased pastel
T-shirts.
At the height of his fame, Johnson recorded Heartbeat, an album
of pop music. The album's title track became a Top 5 hit in 1986. His
1989 follow-up album was Let it Roll.
Fresh and invigorating when it debuted, Miami
Vice stagnated in its subsequent seasons. Marrying Crockett off to a
character played by singer Sheena Easton did little to boost the show's
ratings and in 1989, after five years on the air, Miami Vice
closed up shop.
Johnson returned to film work in 1989 with Dead Bang, and Dennis
Hopper's 1990 film noir The Hot Spot.
Johnson was also hindered by turmoil in
his personal life. In 1989, he remarried Griffith, and the couple
welcomed a daughter. But both Johnson and Griffith struggled with
substance abuse. The pair co-starred in 1991's Paradise and
1993's Born Yesterday, but received more attention from the
tabloids than they did from movie audiences. They split for good in
1995, and the next year Johnson had a supporting role in the Kevin
Costner hit Tin Cup.
Recognizing the public prefers him as a cop on TV, Johnson launched the
CBS series Nash Bridges in 1996, playing a quick-witted detective
solving cases in San Francisco. The show was a solid performer but was
cancelled by Paramount after it's 6th season.
Johnson has also found a new love. In 1999, he married teacher Kelley
Phleger Johnson, 20 years his junior. Together they have a daughter,
Atherton Grace, born in December, 1999.

Sagittarius Sexuality
Your
sexuality is lively, lusty and adventurous. You love to break new
ground, in sexual encounters as in everything else and you are quite
willing to go for what you want. Ruled by Jupiter, the grand leader of
the gods, you are expansive and all-encompassing in your tastes and
interests.
You are uninhibited,
ready to make love on impulse and not impressed with delaying tactics,
or feeble, wimpy attempts to win your favor.
The most important
issue for you is truth and honesty. You hate intolerance in all its
forms (how's that for logic...?) and you are as open about your desires
and sexual needs as you are about everything else.
Guilt and shame are
foreign to your sexual persona and you do not have much patience with
more convoluted souls in these matters. Lusty Sagittarius lays the cards
on the table (and that might be a good place to get started...!).
Most people find you
disarmingly friendly and you appreciate openness in return. Sex for you
is fun and can be a doorway into higher awareness. You are anything but
conservative in sexual matters and you are a sucker for the new and
exotic, especially things redolent of adventure and far-away places.
Admirers should take
note that making plans for travel at the drop of a hat, or intimate
accounts of personal experiences in foreign parts will get your juices
running. This should be followed immediately by passionate sex before
the urge ebbs away..

NOTE:
Sexual
Compatibility shown is a guide for long term relationships
(taller=better). Signs not shown are less compatible, but sexual
attractions can be formed between any of the signs.
Some of the most explosive sexual combinations can be with technically
incompatible signs, say Aries & Cancer, or Taurus & Aquarius.
Tensions due to fundamental sun-sign incompatibilities can fuel the
sexual fires, especially when other factors (moon, mars, venus &
ascendant) come into play.

Sagittarius
Rising
-
A
Sagittarius Ascendant indicates individuals with a certain
type of flexible personality that works well for them.
Because of their need for independence and freedom, they are
apt to constantly put themselves in changing circumstances
and different environments. Such changes would, in turn,
require a certain amount of adaptability. Many of these
individuals put marriage off until later in life or skip it
altogether unless they find understanding partners who do
not attempt to be possessive or confine them. Once such an
acceptable marriage arrangement is made however, they adapt
and are stable, loyal spouses.
They are full of energetic enthusiasm. However, their
enthusiasm is not necessarily always accompanied by
unflagging physical energy. They may, in fact, tend to be
lazy unless highly motivated to perform. It is often
difficult to engage in boring routine exercise and in spite
of their innate restlessness and propensity for rushing
around in a myriad of activities, they are quite capable of
being unwilling (or unable) to keep themselves trim and in
good physical shape. Though often rash and hasty their
passions are sincere and inspirational.
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, planet of inspiration,
wisdom, good fortune, and abundance. These individuals are
apt to be spiritually or philosophically oriented,
talkative, intellectually curious, and, at times, perhaps a
bit too impressed with status and wealth. Their natural
exuberance and generosity are responsible for unrestrained
abundance. Like those with Gemini Ascendants, they are apt
to demonstrate any one of a wide range of orientations and
abilities, from being great teachers, writers, scholars or
researchers all the way down to those who engage in the
flimflam of con artists and the intellectual emptiness of
merely copying the originality and talent of others.
They are apt to be very honest, though it is also true that
their too-candid remarks can sometimes be misinterpreted as
rudeness. The negative influences associated with
Sagittarius Ascendant indicate the possibility of those
afflicted with a tendency for self-indulgence which makes
them pompous, grossly overweight, dependent on drugs or
alcohol, or too opinionated and cynical. On the positive
side, Sagittarius indicates love of drama and the theatre,
good food and drink, dancing, sports, animals, and, as a
rule, they never miss an opportunity to travel. They are
likely to be involved with publishing, education, religion,
art, or music, either as a profession or hobby.
